There is also a strong commitment to the advancement of players to more prominent leagues such as the Arena Football League 2(AFL2), Canadian Football League (CFL), All-American Football League (AAFL), and the National Football League (NFL).
Redemption program
Mentoring has been around for as long as civilization itself, so The Southlake Pirates have taken mentorship to the next level by using it as a vehicle to reach athletes that have come face to face with life changing obstacles. Our staff will embrace any athlete that is will to abide by team guidelines without any prejudice. By take this stand we are able to pass along knowledge that has been past down for eons. The Pirates coaching style is best described as teaching life skills, helping athletes learn what it is they need to know about themselves to lead a happy successful life or career. It is a Mentor-Protégé relationship wherein the coach will try to help the client re-develop life skills without having to constantly be affected by the poor choice or unfortunate circumstances they have endured. Once a player has begun the Redemption Program and begins his transformation, he will begin to experience the trials and tribulations we as human beings often need to go through in order to grow with confidence. It has been said that true genius lies in the ability to learn from the mistakes of others. Our coaches can facilitate this growth; impart wisdom based on their own life experience and save the client from the lengthy, sometimes painful lessons needed in order to achieve their best.
